Axis Horizon transfer ratios depend on the partner

Axis Bank’s current Horizon terms describe EDGE Miles conversion ratios as dynamic. Check the Travel EDGE partner table before transferring. An earn rate of 5 EDGE Miles per ₹100 is not a guaranteed 5% cash return; redemption value depends on the route and current partner ratio.

What the card currently earns

Axis Bank says online travel agents earn the base rate even when the booking is for a flight. The direct airline rate applies to airline-owned websites, airline counters and airline helplines, subject to the merchant category in the official card terms.

For a simple earn example, ₹1 lakh of qualifying direct-airline or Travel EDGE spend yields 5,000 EDGE Miles, and ₹2 lakh of other eligible spend yields 4,000 EDGE Miles. That is 9,000 EDGE Miles before any welcome benefit. A paid card may add 5,000 welcome miles only if its first transaction is at least ₹1,000 within 30 days of issuance. The example does not assign a cash value to those miles because the chosen redemption determines it.

Fees and lounge access

The standard joining and annual fees are each ₹3,000 plus GST. Axis Bank’s product page separately lists a lifetime-free offer for eligible Burgundy account holders; it does not list a general ₹3 lakh spend waiver.

The bank lists 8 domestic lounge visits per calendar quarter on Visa or 6 on Mastercard, plus 2 international visits per calendar quarter. Check the card network and the current lounge list before travel. These allowances are different from a fixed yearly pool.
